I wired up my Blackbox X32 yesterday and it is wonderful. Today I had a little scare though, I had my laptop connected and was jogging around verifying my settings and when I moved my laptop the controller shutdown. I have not verified if the USB cable is bad or the connection on the X32 yet, but I will look into that next week. For the rest of the day today I switched to a WIFI connection between my laptop and the X32 and ran some air tests and then a test making chips. Everything worked well. This got me thinking about my ideal workflow, and based on how I run my 3D printer, this is what I think would be perfect: Generate my gcode in Vectric Load the gcode onto the X32 over WIFI (probably onto an SD card in the X32 SD slot) Connect Control over WIFI and home/zero the machine Start the run with Control or some other browser based UI over WIFI Disconnect Control from the Blackbox and shut my laptop off
I had to edit my message to get past the SPAM filters. Here is the rest: Is the above possible? I can only find info about uploading a file over WIFI in the Interface docs, but the mar***ing for the Blackbox X32 says that there is a web UI, and I would assume that is what I would use to load the file to the Blackbox.
