I am using a X Pro ver 4.0 to run the four 2.8 amp stepper motors. In order to get the motors to run a full capacity the voltage on the board is turned all the up, and the motors still stall under heavy load.
First of all is there another controller board that I can use to handle these motors without the use of external drivers? Since the X Pro can only handle up to 2.5 amps.
    If not:

    • I have a dual Y axis machine and I am not sure on connection of the external drivers (TB6600). Are the four motor drivers connected to the X Pro board or the external drivers?
    • Do I need two external drivers - one for each Y axis motor? And just tie the wires together coming from the external drivers to the X Pro.
    • Does the current adjustment for the motors on the X Pro board have any effect when external drivers?
    Thanks in advance
