I’m wondering if it’s possible in GRBL to tune motors to the same level that a ShopBots motors can be tuned with respect to ramping during 3D carving?

I understand a DIY Open Builds machine is not in the same class as a $30,000 Shopbot… But I’m wondering if there might be some acceleration settings I can tweak to help cut down on 3D finishing times?

Feedrate (speeds) and acceleration settings yes, Ramping settings would be in your cam software.

    $110, $111 and $112 – [X,Y,Z] Max rate, mm/min

    $120, $121, $122 – [X,Y,Z] Acceleration, mm/sec^2
