    Hello all,

Can anyone tell me about the limit switch inputs on the X32 controller? I'm using just normal mechanical limit switches at the 'home' position of each axis. The inputs are labeled GND, V+ and SIG. I've already read in the documentation that I will be using GND and SIG for the input.

The online documentation (Jumper Settings) refers to a jumper that is set to 5v or 24v, and indicated you would use the 5v jumper position for most mechanical and optical switches. Does this jumper need to be installed since I wouldn't be utilizing the V+ output? The section under Limit Switches did not go into any further explanation.

The primary intent of the switches are for homing, and I don't have travel limit switches on on the opposite ends of travel.

    Thanks for any help!

Jumper only applies to powered switches / sensors

I suspected that might be the case, but thank you for verifying that, Peter.
