    Good Evening Everyone,

I have the XYZ probe. The magnet has come out of the probe. Of course, I cannot find the magnet. Does anyone know the size of the magnet? I need to order the part from amazon. I check the openbuilds parts store website for the magnet but did not see the magnet listed on the website. I need to get a magnet as soon as possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Measure across the recess to get diameter. Thickness is probably 1mm but you can substitute thicker too if you want to

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for the input. I measured and came up with 6mm. I found some magnets with 6mm x 1mm on Amazon. The order should be here tomorrow. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Peter,

I received the magnets today. They fit pretty well? I now have a new issue. The probe wizard works fine until it starts to probe the large hole. It fails in the y axis direction as it is probing the large hole. I included a picture of the code below. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Note: I updated the controller software today.

What did it do in the real world at that point? (stop just short of the edge it was heading toward?)
How small is the bit you are probing with?
