Recently purchased a used Openbuilds CNC (my first CNC woohoo!) and after ironing out every bug possible, there's still just one that's plaguing me. There's some slop in the z-axis, enough that all my cuts are pretty off. The wheels on one side of the z-axis beam have eccentric nuts, they're all as turned in as I can get them, and the attached file is as tight as I can get the z-axis so far. The OD of all wheels (solid v-wheel) is 23.9mm. No idea what to do next, I've taken the thing apart close to 10 times to try this or that and nothing seems to be working. Any advice is appreciated.

on the non adjustable side push the wheels inward when you are tightening them.
then maybe the adjustment will put the wheels in contact properly.
if not, maybe you need to replace that plate with one with proper hole spacing.
