In this construction I tried to have as little as possible hand made parts. I wanted to have an open frame that I can place over bigger wood plates to engrave.
V-Slot™ Mini V Linear Actuator Bundles are perfect for that. You can just screw the main axes together without needing any additional mounting brackets.
For the electronics, I decided to use an Arduino Uno with Grbl 1.1f and a Prontoneer CNC-Shield.
On software side I will use LaserWeb4.
