3DS Cube 3 Modular Extruder

We are all struggling with the 3D Systems Cube 3 cartridges.
One problem solved, we can remove the write operation to the cartridges.
...creating a new problem as the cartridges are prone to failure.

This build attempts to correct this by extending the longevity of the parts provided with OEM cartridges.
In addition, this upgrade also allows for hot-swapping filament mid-print.

This is part of a larger project that will likely spawn from this in discussion, but suffice it to say at this point that the extruder is only part of the system. You will be expected to provide a 4mm OD filament feeder tube to the module using push-to-connect tubing and fittings. There are several offerings to accomplish this. It is my hope that these additional elements will come out in the discussion. I will say that this has been accomplished with great success. And I will also give credit to those who have endeavored to get to this point. These contributors too will be highlighted as the discussion progresses.

The finer bits. The tube is stock 3DS 2.8mm Teflon tube salvage.
