I'm working on a resin printer that is adjustable to fit multiple projectors. My intention is to release the design to schools so that they can build a printer out of their surplus and pullout classroom DLP projectors to lower the "cost of entry" into the 3D printing world.
C-Beam based modular Resin Printer
Build in 'Resin Style Bots' published by Jim S, Aug 10, 2016.
The build is based on a 500mm C-Beam and the SeeMeCNC FlexVat. The C-Beam is both the linear motion and a structural element of the design. The frame that holds the 45 degree first surface mirror and the build vat can slide up and down the C-Beam to accommodate projectors with lenses at different elevations.

Reason for this Build
I work in AV for a higher ed institution, and we retire lots of old projectors that could have a great second life as a 3D printer. This design is intended to be modular and adjustable enough to work with a variety of different projectors and enable other schools to build printers out of surplus AV equipment.Inspired by
This build borrows heavily from my experience with the LittleRP resin printer. It is simple and effective. This design is similar in concept, but is intended to be more hackable and adjustable to fit a wider range of projectors.
