LEAD 1515 HIGH Z MOD 4KW ER20 7.5 KW VFD

Don't every buy Chinese from Ebay!! Be forewarned. I should have either saved my money or just bit the bullet and bought the Lead 1010 kit several years ago. At the time I didn't have any spare money and wanted to get the most bank for the buck and it now has cost me almost twice what a Lead 1515 with high Z mod would have cost outright.

• This started out as a 1000mm x 1500mm I purchased from Ebay and then supplemented with the High Z mod for lead 1010 as it fit the 1000mm C-Beam
• I successfully was able to turn spindles of various kinds, however due to the limiting nature of the 1/4-inch max router bit, by bits were also much smaller and by 1.5kw Spindle probable wasn't enough power.

• The final machine pictured was taken down to almost original pieces and then piece by piece and order by order and I went through official parts lists of Lead 1515 to make it match with thrust bearings. Also had to get new lead screws as the Chinese ones don't match OB.
• It is wired with a 20 watt Laser that can be mounted to front of Spindle as needed.
• I have the 5th axis rotary, its tricky to switch between standard config to laser, and then also to rotary all with BB even though it is possible!
