Figured since I have a bunch of extra parts left over from my last 2 builds I might try to do a Micro Ox just for kicks. I'll make the machine 2' x 2' and see about using an brushless outrunner motor like in Robert Hummels 890KV Ox

Plus it will give me a chance to try some of those chinese breakout boards. I'm going to continue to use Mach 3 just for the fact I don't feel like learning yet another piece of software right now and it's simple to set up and use.
I be using the phenolic plates I sell in my webstore. These are the standard REV80 Ox plates that will fit any of the standard Ox builds, only slightly thicker @ .375 (3/8") rather then 1/4". The phenolic plates are a affordable alternative to get started without sacrificing performance. If you would still like 6061 aluminum plates you'll be able to cut a set once your machine is up and running.
