Started my 3D printer build. This is modeled after my steel framed CNC router.
The frame is 1.75" steel tubing with a approximate footprint of 12" x 18".
The X and Y axis will use ballscrews and the Z stainless steel fast thread Acme screw.
All axis's will be driven with Nema 17 motors.
I have been acquiring parts of eBay and Amazon for the last 2-3 months.
The printer base welded.
The upright welded in place.
It is starting to come together.
Some more progress today.
I tried everything to get a driver loaded for real Arduino Megaa 2560. Just got a Chinese knock out and Windows 7 liked on the first try.
