About a year ago I started to reverse engineer Robert Hummel's Stinger-V micro mill using sketchup. Fast forward to the beginning of this year and I wanted to dive in and try LaserWeb4 with a diode laser before the CO2 laser build begins.
This was a excellent learning experience and a very fun build that combined both of the above goals.
