Build using standard parts as much as possible, Open Builds etc. To keep printer usable for more materials will be trying a heated bed with rotary elec union for the thermistor and power.

      Due to a change in jobs I am now on the road M-F and find that I would like to have a printer that can travel and be used while away from home.

      Goals:
      Use readily available parts
      Fit inside a Harbor Freight 2800 hard case
      Maximize build size; thus the Polar build design

      Looking at the picture of the mockup, it now reminds me of the portable record players.
