Stephen Savoie

I work for the University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute in the Advanced Manufacturing division. I have expertise in CAD, mechanical design, CNC machining, 3D printing, and general mechanical prototyping. I also have some experience with electronics and programming. Mostly I just like to build stuff. I get to work with a lot of high tech stuff at work, but I am also very much into the low-cost DIY world. I love the creativity that it brings out in people when you have to design with heavy constraints of cost and materials. My main build interests currently are CNC routers and 3D printers.
