    Witch is better a tapered ball nose or a straight angle ball nose, or when to use one over the other.

    Tapered ball nose endmills provide increased strength (less chance of breaking one even with a tiny ball end on the end, faster feedrates, can tape deeper depth of cuts), and also less tool deflection - all thanks to the thicker shaft.

    The second advange is more use-case specific, but they are great for Inlay work: See MTMWood's youtube for some of his inlay projects, and more often than not he is running a taper mtmwood - as it allows the mating of the inlay to be done much cleaner
