Hi, I've just built my first 3D-printer. It's a K8200 kit. I'm going to use it for make small components to replace broken ones on old radio sets, like buttons, tubes bases, loudspeakers pieces ... I'm 57, I leave in France and i am crazy abour 20's radios ! regards. example of radio pieces : one lever is broken.
Hi Pierre, Welcome to the forum. I look forward to hearing more on your progress with the printer and the radio parts that you make. Tweakie.
Hi, Here is my first old radio printing : this is a loud-speaker motor, from an old german receiver. The old mechanical part was maid in Zamac, and this alloy has desease : it falls in powder ! So, I made one replic in PLA. It's strong enough and LS is working, now. You can read (in french, sorry) how I proceed here : http://www.cfp-radio.com/realisations/rea93/moteur-skagen.html
