Hi, I would like to know the differences between lead screw and belt? The pros and cons. My application requires some speed. My 1st prototype is using belt and doing alright. I want to try out the C-beam with lead screw for my second prototype. I wonder if it can move as fast as the belt system using the same stepper. Any help would be appreciated. Hiep

Thank you. I see the difference in resolution. To cover the same distance, the screw system has to work 8 times as much as the belt do. In my application, speed is more important than accuracy. I guess I have to use belt then.
