I'm torn between a laser and a mill cnc. I know I have some materials that I will need to cut using a laser at some point in time. But at the same time I like the versatility of the mill given that it can be built a lot cheaper and carve wood (and consumes less power). I'd like to know if I build an openbuilds ox can I mounted a laser on it. or do laser units need to be built different? In addition is it possible cheange between cutter & laser easily or will it be too difficult to align.
