Just did a new mini mill build and went to fire it up and I can't get the stepper motors to run. They click when I try to run them but no movement. I also loosened the couplings to make sure there was no resistance. Checked volts going into board and exactly 24 volts. ???????

What drivers/board are you running ? What steppers ? what PSU ? double check that you have wired the steppers correctly ?, I have 2 stepper motors here with the same 4 colours, 2 different makes wired differently

google the part number on the back of the motor and find the data sheet

Depending on your stepper drivers, you may need to set VRef using the little pots on the drivers. I was using the Gradus M1 Pro with Bigfoot drivers. I had the exact same thing happen and had to set my Vref to ~0.75 volts. Not sure what you are using....

I found the issue, I'm using an xpro board w/grbl and had to change the $4 value to 1. Thanks for the replies guys!
