To Openbuilds developers: My Y axis lead screw pitch is different by 10 mm over 1500 mm travel from one side to the other. Is there any updated firmware available to allow Y and Y2 to be calibrated (steps/mm) separately to compensate for the poor lead screws? At present both sides are linked in the software. A software solution would be ideal compared to changing controllers or fitting new lead screws.

No, because that would be a serious and unexpected mechanical abnormality. Calibration corrects for minor tolerances. 10mm falls under the "not at all the correct leadscrew" category. Replace the leadscrew

Of course that assumes everything else is fine. Not stalling due to mech binding, acceleration or max rate? Couplers not slipping due to loose setscrews, etc

Hi Peter, the machine is a 1510 Killer Bee, I have just built it all new from a kit I purchased second hand, but unused. I suspected the steppers were out of synch, but confirmed it is the lead screw pitch that is out by running a lock nut along each one a set number of turns and comparing the difference. I intend to buy new leadscrews, but it would be useful if the Y2 and Y steppers could be calibrated individually to increase the accuracy of any machine with this configuration. Is this a software feature upgrade you would consider?

Not likely to happen, because no one normally uses parts that bad.
