First venture into cnc machining I decided on the C-Beam .

The Story of the Scecina Memorial High School 1510 BUILD will unfold through a series of 10 minute Episodes. Each episode will consist of video showing how to assemble some aspect of the 1510 overlaid with a discussion about Technology, Art, Philosophy... and Life the Universe and Everything. Episode two is soon to follow. If sufficient interest ensues, the episodes may continue beyond the building of the 1510 to relate its use in the making of the Art.

I made a cam slider prototype with adjustable rotation to get experience for my CNC milled slider in planing.

It all started after my prusa i3 build inspired me to experiment with resin 3D printers because I want to learn if they are worth it and if I can design my own printer.

Creating a CNC mitre (45°) cutter, for picture frame cutting. Starting with an OX, but inverting various parts and adding a material table, with a stepper-controlled measuring guide.

The plasma CNC that I have built has a water table that measures 1350mm x 650mm. The water is flooded onto the cut area while cutting and recycled around with a pump. This is to reduce smoke, cool the metal being cut to reduce distortion and also to keep sparks to a minimum. Most of the machine has been made from aluminium , the frame and table from steel, the water table, stainless steel.

To begin the "Build" I have ordered a few parts from OpenBuilds to get started. They are arriving today; according to "tracking". I cant wait! Praise Jesus! This 85 yr old man is getting a "New " life. Hallelujah and amen. Because I am building this on an existing machine, I have to be careful; so I will order some parts then see what I don't need (such as a base); along with parts that I may need to adapt it to the machine. Sheethexapod works with basic mechanims as direct metal-metal links and joints, all movements can be done by a rc servomotor in this case towerpro model.

This is a C-Beam based router with V-rails used for the bed, a Sherline spindle with Jacobs chuck, closed loop stepper motors on every axis and an offline 4-axis CNC controller. A U-channel was created to guide the drag chain on the X-axis.

I have not too much space and need a portable solution, and tired of cleaning the electronics I decide to put everything inside a box and this is the result.

I wanted a machine that could easily switch between 3D Printing and Laser Engraving

This is a build still in the prototype stage. The initial design is being used to control a 4 axis sample change, but the PCBs when finalized will be able to be adapted as a convenient way to wire stepper (or eventually hybrid stepper) drivers to which ever controller you happen to be using. Current developments center around an Arduino Mega, although more interfaces are planned in the future. The main design centers around the use of Phoenix Connectors.

The user will input a selection from a variety of pre-established drinks. The user will not need a glass, since it will be provided in the automation process. This completely eliminates the need for a bartender if an RFID purchase system is implemented.

I have constructed frame out of 1 1/2" square tubing. Have my Y aces mounted. and awaiting parts.

This build includes the design of a large FDM 3D printer. This machine has a 796mm by 796mm by 900mm (LxWxH) build volume. Motion is controlled by servo motors and the printer runs on python-based marlin firmware.

Dust Shoe design for a CNC router. Attaches to Chris Laidlaw's Mount design, with the DeWalt D26200 (which I think is the DWP 611 in the US).

The frame of the CNC is going to to Bee a basic Work Bee with maybe 1 modification to the spoil board attachment. This will be located on a custom bench housing the electronics and vacuum. I plan to install Stepper online steppers, drivers, power supplies, and break out board. I will add a 1.5 KW water cooled spindle, with a radiator. The fans from the radiator will pull air from a filtered enclosure for all the electronics.

I'm Brandoneous; hence, the BrandoneOuX, a cartesian CNC build. Large format (1000mm x 1000mm) but beefed-up to solidly augment the ability to cut Aluminum in addition to wood and other solid materials. As I am currently living in a rented apartment for an out-of-state job, my secondary challenge is to build a sound dampening enclosure that will function as a torsion box base, a sound dampening enclosure, and a dust containment system. Using the WorkBee to protect doctors against Corona virus.

Modify a Gen1 Cube printer into a small cnc router to cut pcbs and light (VERY light) milling work. Also easy to swap out the rotary head and mount a laser head for engraving.

X is 1000mm, Y is 1500 mm, Z is 1000mm. It Rotates 360 degrees and Tilt also can move 360 degrees. I also have a motor that controls the focus of the camera.

I saw a video of some one pouring resin in a mold,so i did a little research, i bought some resin,and some molds and magnets all from Amazon, it took me several tries and a big mess but it finally finished. The first pour i poured a small batch to make a templet,i marked all the holes that needed drilling then i marked the underside of the mold where i wanted the magnets, next was making the pcs i needed
