CNC variation about Sphinx.

Turning my prototypes into real objects, it will be required a great amount of drawings, A LOT. Therefore, against the ink costs raise price push me to think in a way to draw models, blueprints, etc. at very, VERY low cost. This is where my DrawBot was born

My original Tevo Tarantula kit was ok..... I had issues with the X gantry staying level. I got rid of the wheels and replaced them with linear block bearings. I still had some issues with the X gantry. I swapped out the plastic parts with aluminum which was much better. Still not what I want yet

Fascinated for some time by 3D Printing. Now, after studying countless forum posts, blogs and similiar stuff, i want to Start with my own build. Maybe a bit much but usually i thrive with the challenge.

I'm building a CNC router for a long time. Here's the result on this long journee. I tried to do my best with the basic tools I have. Don't hesitate to ask if you have questions.

This is about my build of a Workbee 1000X1000 being built here in Trenton, SC. My goal is to use it to help cut the new panel for my RV6A airplane.

My goal was to be able to enlarge my C-Beam with as many original parts as possible. I was able to recycle almost all of them with a only the two 500 mm rails left over. I used 1000 mm rails for the X Axis and I added another complete Y Axis assembly. I chose to keep it simple and I am very happy with the result!

A simple made hideaway for ugly electronics

Currently i am reworking the frame still with current available parts just going to buy material to make the y and the z axis from openbuilds. The x axis is now going to be mobile similar to a 3d printer style.

Sheethexapod works with basic mechanims as direct metal-metal links and joints, all movements can be done by a rc servomotor in this case towerpro model.

I have not too much space and need a portable solution, and tired of cleaning the electronics I decide to put everything inside a box and this is the result.

It's a Z floating head idea. Works well. Recommend cleaning the inside of your holes well with Q tips, and polishing the 1/4-20 bolts with car wax and you won't need oil as it slides perfectly. Hope this helps

A 200mm x 300mm x 200mm workhorse that never needs leveling due to Posi-Drive Leveling design.

The Rock n Roll is built on granite, is solid as a rock, and gathers no moss. This build provides a high degree of accuracy and repeatability. We will use a high speed spindle, large high voltage stepper motors and small cutting heads to overwhelm the forces produced at the cutting head.

Just now in the planning phase of my build. Waiting for some parts to come in to see what I am going to build off of. Print area going to be close to 300x300x350. Trying to decide if I want it enclosed. I do want to print ABS... so probably so.

Long duration , high intensity SCUBA dive light using Li-Po 18650 batteries and advanced circuitry.

This build is based of Ooznest 's OX CNC Mechanical kit (500x750) with a few mods if all goes as planned.

This project is a Pull tester for material testing or structural testing with stress (force) data logging, I don't have plans for strain logging but that might be down the road.

This items are so cool that they need to be together, so I decided to create brackets that connect both pieces together

Simple upgrade of the Y axis on a Cbeam sphinx from 500mm to 1000mm.

C-Beam XL upgraded with end-stops, E-stop, and cable chain. Running GRBL on Arduino Mega.

Plexi Panel to use for a vfd test enclosure. The box will be wall-mounted on plywood, so the back of the box is not necessary. - The bottom of the box is not necessary because the box will be fixed on concrete on the floor. On the door, I was thinking of putting 4 brackets instead of two. We'll have two 21” doors
